Dear... ,
The staff of CITE Magazine has struggled for the past two years of not having the necessary resources to produce a magazine that is up to the standards of their work. Now with CITE Magazine being offered as a class, students believe that this is the time to revolutionize what was once a far fetched idea, to now having a magazine that UW Milwaukee and the community can take pride in.
Something has to give or someone has to give. That is why we are writing to you during this crucial time in the production of this magazine. Will you give? You can help CITE Magazine become something that people will be interested in from cover to cover.
CITE Magazine's mission is and always will be to exist beyond the page. While supporting the ideas of an interdisciplinary matrix and expanding it outside of the academic realm. This will be done by focusing on the accomplishments of our undergraduate students and the skills of our local artists. We at CITE Magazine pledge to deliver intellectually diverse articles that aim to promote communication, new relationships and innovative ideas through design.
By helping the students on the staff to create this magazine. You are not only helping them but you are also investing in the long-term health of UW Milwaukee and it's future students. In addition, by contributing to this cause, you will also be receiving free advertising and positive public relations in the community. This is because the magazine will be sold at a number of locations including the 2009 Graphic Design two Fuse store in the UW Milwaukee Union Atrium on April 29, 2009.
The benefit of this magazine at our school is priceless it is teaching us about every process, from the progression of our ideas to the binding, that is involved in producing a new innovative magazine like CITE.
Thank you for supporting CITE Magazine.
-At the bottom of the page there will be spots for the amounts of the donation to be filled out corresponding with the size of the advertisement they want.
-I think we are going to need a letterhead to put this on. So once we figure out what the final logo is going to be I can make it and we can start getting some money!
